Uh, sorry to kill your hopes and dreams, but any LAN IP ending in x.x.x.1 is your Router or whatever you have IF you aren't connected to the internet from the cable box itself. Otherwise, with a crossover, it may be your computer, or if your lucky it's the xbox.
lol yeah I was rather sad when I disconnected my wireless card and stopped getting a reply from the ping..

I did the hotswap, backed up my 3 and 4 partitions, replaced them with C and E Folder with Ms Dash 5960 and UnleashX Dash, and I now have an XBOX with a working factory dash

I recently tried to convert a softmod back to standard and it hung while unmounting virtual C:\
The result was the MS networking crap you describe. Only fix was to boot AID and re-install softmod then uninstall and re-install properly as it could'nt boot a dash.
The gamesaves are still there
If you can get a working AID you should then be able to FTP & cleanup as well.

What do you mean you cant access the unleash x dash?
Even though I hotswapped C & E drives with a suppose'd MS Dash 5960 and UnleashX dash in one...the XBOX is only giving me the "Factory Fresh" looking 5960 MS Dash. With EvolutionX (the dash I had before my problem,) I simply had to boot the XBOX with the drive open and I would then be able to select which dash I wanted.
I see nothing (navigating though my dash/attempting to play burned dvd's) to suggest that this UnleashX dash is available. _________________ [img]http://img75.imageshack.us/img75/1833/gtrjr2.jpg[/img]
