I think you need to open the action replay software first. I'm sorry man, I'm really not sure why it isnt working fo you. If you followed th tutorials exactly there shouldn't be any problems. I'm really njot sure what you mean by .sys and .ini files. I didnt have to do anything with those kind of files. I think you may be overcomplicating things. _________________

well the .sys and .ini file are the drivers that make the controller compatible with windows. but that is irrelavent to the fact about the mem card. i think its just... well. check out my memory card. heres a pick of it. is it even the right one? i think its a microsoft card but not the 'original' xbox microsoft card.

It dosnt matter what memory card you use, I use a madcats. Try plugging the memory card into your xbox first, to make sure its the correct format. Then, wait until you have the action replay software open before you plug it into your computer. _________________

im going to put this project on hold untill i get back my home town, at least i have 24\7 access to computers there and i can take my time. living here in kansas is dangerous if your use to being around ppl. school is the only thing keeping me from going crazy. cuz my step brother broke my damn xbox. he got mad and tossed my controller. and i always keep the cover off my xbox cuz i clean it. i guess the controller landed on the game disk while it was spinning. now nothing worlks. it spins but wont read it. the lense is not scratched, might be outa line, or the disk spinner could be bent a tad i dont know. and i dont expect any help with that cuz its obvious what i need to do. get another xbox and get a 360 as well.

If it shows up there, it means that its been formatted for windows and thats not what hes trying to do. Have you had any luck with this yet freakman? If not, maybe you should step back, uninstall everything, and go over the steps again. Sometimes it helps to do this to check and make sure you didnt miss anything. And for your xbox, check the classifieds. People allways seem to have extra parts up for sale, and you could probobly get ahold of a new dvd rom for pretty cheap. _________________

Ok man, I totally remeber how to do this now. Open your action replay software before you plug in the memory card. Then, when you plug in the card, it will say found new hardware or something like that. Use the action replay software for the driver. Cant believe I forgot how to do hat man. _________________

That should do the trick. Last night I used action replay to transfer one of my gamesaves I have backed up on my computer and thats all I had to do. Have your computer search for the driver in the action replay directory. Should be something like that -->C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay XBOX\Drivers _________________

it says the specified location c:/program files/datel/actionreplay xbox/drivers/xbreader does not contain any information about your hardware....
