Yes, by far thee best ever. I think mostly because..... well they pulled off the quiet, strong protagonist with a twist to his own past (Cloud = Pwnage) and the antagonist wasnt evil.... he was insane . Yeah, 7 was a pretty wicked game. By far one of my alltime favorites. It was the only reason I traded in my N64 for a ps one (well gran tourismo 2 i guess). Who knows though we may eventually see FF games on the xbox. I'm not all that sure how long square's deal with sony lasts. I remember when Porsche had an exclusive contract with NFS. Now that that contract is up, you see porsches in just about every racing game. We can only hope though, cause theres no way in hell im shelling out 600 bucks for a ps3 just for FF. _________________

Nah, FF will never be on the Xbox, as soon as it goes up for bids again, Sony will snatch it before anyone else realizes its for grabs, and my guess is that sony will probably just extend the deal longer and longer. And as of right now, yeah, the PS3 really is only a Hard-Core system, but I've heard rumors of dropping prices for the longest time, also there gonna stop selling the lower gig and focus on the big boy. Yeah, the PS3 never released in the UK with the smaller drive, only the big one. As soon as the prices begin falling, I'll look seriously into investing in one.
FFXIII is still lokking likely to be an end 07 / early 2008 release, so I don't need to rush to buy a PS3 just yet!

I just wanna know how much cheaper they will make it.... Cause if it drops to like $300 imma be mad.... There was a PS3 for sale around my way for £229 the other week ( thats $451). I was seriously tempted, but in the end restrained myself. I think a purchase is inevitable, just need to hold on a bit longer I think.
Till then, I have my collection off FFIII - FFXII to keep me busy. Currently running through VII (again!) on my Xbox.

Yeah, I cant tell ya how many times I played through VII. I still hated the solo, materia only, no items, inital equipment challenge I put myself through..... *shudders* The carry armor still gives me nightmares
But in the end I dominated sephy *cough*KOTR*cough* I need to buy another copy of IV again though, for some reason that is the only one I cant keep in decent condition. I would put it all on my Xbox if I could even mod, but no matter how much I read cant figure out how.... Probably cause I dont have a picture of what the inside of an Xbox looks like with labled parts.... Hm..... Mabye I should suggest that....

Many years ago now, SquareEnix released a PS3 Technical Demo at the E3 show, which showed the intro to FFVII running on the PS3. Since then rumours of an overhaul onto the PS3 have been plentiful, but Square refuse to comment, claiming that "they are focused on completing the tasks they have before and consideration will be given."

Yeah, Dragon Quest is a pretty good game, Im sure even though they said nothing about it, it will probably make its way onto the PS3, but I cant sat for sure, and if VII does make it on the PS3, so help me god, I dont not pass out on the spot. Just thinking about the graphics and potential voice overs all almost enought o do it now. Especially how the magics and summons will look, plus the weapons as well.... I keep seeing little tibits and rumors about a dragon quest IX. I'm also seeing some rumors about the possibility of some re-released dragon quest titles making it to the us like they did in japan for 1-5. If this ends up being true, Im gonna snag a ps3 asap (not before I get my hands on a 360 though). _________________

Eh, I still havnt bought a 360 myself (Still quite content with my Xbox). If anything, I know that they might release a something for dragon quest along the lines of a anniversary edition or something. My biggest concern for VII is Square mabye re-writting the script.... I hope they dont it will be so much better if they dont. Also some cutscences might end up like Xenosaga.... at least the one that was in Kalm (I think). That was doozy....
