What I can suggest is set up a network bridge between you Broadband connection and your NIC on your computer. Which will use your DHCP server on your broadband connection.
Enable DHCP in your network settings in your Evox Dash.
Restart your xbox.
Check the IP address displayed on xbox.
Start FlashFXP, type in the IP address displayed on your xbox in the address box, Username: xbox, Password: xbox, Port: 21

Gotcha, I'll give it a go tonight.
I've had almost no joy with it so far, so any response from the box would be wonderful!!

I did have a similar problem with a friends xbox.
I used this method as a workaround.
I had the xbox plugged into my laptop NIC w/ a standard network cable.
I bridged my wireless and LAN on my laptop (which allowed me to use my network DHCP server through my laptop to supply the xbox with an IP address)
And I set the xbox network to DHCP.
Once that was done, all worked fine.
I hope it works for you.

Hey Finalcloud I had the same problem but my comp is stand alone. Using Xp went to network connection then started wizard to share files on network(via xover cable) I chose the no internet option.
From there I could ping but get dir list errors, using evox and flashfxp I got aid put on xmbc as an app and used fille zilla client to connect and its all good
So try and change dash via aid disc install as app xmbx or use unleshz on aid disc to connect.
I had to disable firwall to get it to work properly just unplug usb cable for mind peace that your sytem isn't getting compromised.

I'll give that a go to.
My internet is down at home at the mo, so I can't DHCP the address for the box, plus, just to make matters worse, my writer has broken, leaving me with just a DVD ROM drive.
This could be a prob. It means I can't now burn AID or CHIMP to disk and install them on the box.
Ever get the feeling its one thing after another?!? _________________

Just use Chimp v2.4
Believe me, it really is the easiest thing to use. I got myself the molex splitter for a couple of quid (barely a dollar) and was able to do the upgrade within minutes.
Mind you, I had no choice but to do it that way as my writer had packed up, but hey, I wouldn't have it any other way!! lol _________________
