The one I provided works fine, and if you cant use it, there's a problem on your side, not the tracker for the torrent.
OK thanx for saying that now i wont provide the complete information, but i can say that my download of the torrent from another site has no corrupt files and everything went without a hitch.

i'm at a university so im guessing that that is whats causing the problem...i want AID 3.1 and I cant have it! aarrgghh!
can linux bittorent software get around those kinds of firewalls?

Love all the great stuff you guys been putting up, i have a spare box and a 160 gig hard drive, what is the best way to softmod easilly so i can boot the Aid 3.1 right away?

you have two options to upgrade your Hard drive right now. XBHDM (the hard way) or, since you have a 1.0, you can use CHIMP, which is under the Tools section of AID. Here's how ya use it.
Step one, get AID, and burn it.
Next open your xbox and loosen the dvd drive IDE cable (not too loose so it doesn't read it, just loose enough where a simple pull will remove it for quick switching).
Set your new HDD on top of the DVD drive and find another way to power the hard drive (two ways. one, with a Y splitter off the primary HDD's power, or, get a junk PSU from a computer, plug it into a nearby outlet, give it power ((best way's to use a power cable off your running computer. But not all of us have our xboxes close to our computer)) and plug it into your new HDD.) Leave the Xbox's original hard drive hooked up.
Now boot up your xbox, pop in and launch AID, go to tools, and select chimp.
Now the rest I've taken from Loki77's tutorial.

the hard drive you want to upgrade to showed up as
slave) go back to the main menu.
step 11
Now select "Clone from master to slave."
If you have anything on it- it will ask you to
reformat the drive, click yes- and proceed.
Next the screen will go black for ALONG time- it can
take anywhere from 5-30 min, but im sure it should
only take about 15 if your copying your retail drive
to a bigger one. YOUR SYSTEM DID NOT freeze- just go
away for a bit, get something to drink, go for awalk-
i dont care!!
step 12
after its done- it will tell you its finished,
now in the main menu select "lock slave drive"
in the next menu select "from motherboard"
After it locks your done!
step 13
power down your system, now re-connect the IDE cable
into the back of you DVD-drive-
Step 14
Un-plug the Y splitter, and take this time to Reset
your new hard drives jumpers to master settings.
step 15
switch out your old hard drive for your new one.
Make sure everything is hooked up and ready to go!!
There ya go. You should be happy. For best results, just go with the Y splitter. They're like 2 bucks at best buy, or you can get 'em really cheap from tigerdirect.com. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Ok this is a real newbie question
I have a early version of AID and I love it but I do realy want new one and do have it exstracted already.
I just wanted to know the best way to install it with out looseing any exsisting Data as I have a lot saved on my xbox. I realy dident wanna do the FTP thing as it does take a long time. Please HELP !

Just download the file, burn to a DVD and drop into your xbox. It shouldn't overwrite any files that you don't tell it to.
For example, if you want to install Mimesis 3, just choose it from the menu. Anything currently in *:\Apps\Mimesis may get overwritten, but nothing else.

also remember. If you have any major questions about AID, you can read the manuals that come with it. You can't FTP AID, you need to burn a DVD.

deviating a little from aid 3.1 but you may have answered my prayers!! the procedure posted above about installing a bigger hard drive! write i have two xboxes one black one cystal, the black one i unlocked and buggered, and was wondering if i pull out my hd from my black one follow the procedure set out by angelos will it sort out my buggered hd? it looks like it would work as if its just cloning the hdd it should be all set up right?? please i need my black xbox back alive my g/f kidnapped my crystal one!!
