iduuno freaky..... i never configured it i just installed it from xed
well did u try to press select ? it usualy brings out the list once u do that.... of configure the config.xml or ini w/e its called and make sure to edit the path the files are.... but most likely i think u just got to get on the menu of the snes so it displays all ur games.... not favroitse or anytin like that.... so press select or start and go down the list and load up the default or main page ... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

hey guys
i've got good news! my roms now work! awesome, the zip thing...that was the key so thankyou!!!
but i now have another issue altogether. i need to configure my controller so that i can play the roms...but, when i press START to bring up the menu in xSnes9x it freezes and won't let me scroll down to the 'configure controller' option.
so, do you guys know if there is another way to set up the controller or am i royally f@£$%d????

i just cleared the cache files but it didn't make any difference. the menu still won't allow me to scroll. the controller stops responding altogether and i have to restart the xbox because it won't even do the shoulder buttons and black thing....

Oh i remember that problem, is this the latest xnes9x or older? I had to replace the emulator with another one in order to get it to work. This is the version I use Snes9x 1.42 _________________

perhaps it is something to do with my copy of the emulator. i've tried looking for another copy but there isn't one in the downloads section. any idea's where i could find a copy that i could try to ftp to my xbox???
that might work out better, because i have uninstalled and reinstalled the emulator again and tried installing on F:\ and it always does the same thing.

Remove the saved data for snes9x , on the e drive. You can do it through the savedgame manager. _________________
