and i got sid 3 on there now so wat programs do i need off of the AID disk cause i have the XED disk and it has a alot of programs on it

sid4 is the best softmod to exist for reasons such as
shadoc C < which means it hides your retail C incase u delte somtin then that breaks the mod .. and it also patches eeprom so programs like configmagic wont open it so sid4 prevents u from unlockin ur hd..
LOOK SID4 IS ADVANCE BUT SAFE FOR NOOBS..
u can get ur eeprom off sid4 but like shark2th said sid 3 is easy as the eeprom is fast to find BUT UM YEA LETS STARAT OVER WITH THE HD cuz u messed it up and it will work usin xboxhdm1.9 u just screwd up
what current mod do u have??? did u get ur real eeprom??? once u have ur real eeprom lets grab it then put it on xboxhdm1.9 then get RETAIL MS DASH FILES again from pirrup ... assumin its alrdy finshd makin the partions and ur currently in the process of lockin it TYPE lockhd -a exactly like u see it there.. take ur time if u locked it correctly then u should load it up with xbox... if u get #06 then u got the wrong eeprom NOW ITS OK just boot the disc again and unlock the hd by typin unlockhd -a remmeber there is a space between unlockhd and -a.... laterz..
SORRY FOR LONG POST BUT U NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THAT WAY U CAN MOVE ON W/UPGRDE HD..

u dont man...
its as simple as
if have unleash x file manager it then hightlight G and press WHITE button and u get a drop down list look for FORMATE takes half a sec and the rest of the files should be there..
F > 137 gb G the rest...
u only formate it when u prepin it usin aid on CHIPPED XBOX not softmoed xbox.
EDIT: u never transferd pirrup ms dash ??? then this is 1 REASON why it didnt work SO dont blame the tut as u were the 1 that made the mistake ... BUT IM SOO SURE U GET IT THIS TIME .... i'm postive 100%.. go 4 it man! _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

my box isnt chiped its soft moded
so can i format it with that??

and i did get the pirrup c files but on accident i used the cd with my c files (the shaddow ones) so i re did evry thing then re locked it with the right files but it wouldnt lock so i hand typed it in rather than hitting hdlock -a i hit hdlock -p that lets u type the eprom key after the -p i typed it in but i guess ihit typed like one key wrong i was like DAMMMMMM cuase it wounldnt work in my xbox
but next time ill b care full

NO TUT but very simple
eeprom on xboxhdm retail ms dash file on xboxhdm burn it put new hd buld new hd from scratch once done partions reboot
then 3( linux with lockin unlockin utilies
type exactly lockhd -a THRE IS A SPACE BETWEEN LOCKHD AND -A and u should be fine.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

i got aim the s/n is roadkill9191 im almost always on
i tryed 2 do that with the last 1 but it didnt work
am i going 2 b able to use the f and g drive if its soft moded?? if yes how??
and how am i ssupposto do it cause last time with xbhdm it didnt work
ill try again though
and should i make all the partations that it asks me to make like c, e, f
then after that how do i make the extra ones i need active also
when i put the eeprom in the epprom file on the XBHDM should it just be that one eeprom.bin file or should it also be the files that r in the same folder that the eeprom was in (the other files are bios.bin, hdkey.bin, disk.bin, and hddinfo <the last one is a text doc)
plzz respond asap cauase i wanna make the hd 2 night
