hello all ,
i was looking to buy this disk but im not sure what it does exactly does anyone know what it does ? i dont want to buy it and find out it wont work for what i need thanks in advance .

Thats not the restore disc. I almost bought that. It looks like a testing disc to find problems with hardware. But I can't be 100% b/c Ihave never used it. _________________ XBOX v1.6

thanks for the link it did help me out alot , and it sounds like people are having a hard time getting it to boot so im glad i did not waste $30.00 on a coaster thanks man you rock .

$30!? Do you know how hard that thing is to find? Man, get that disc; they're rare to see out in the wild. From what I hear that thing's a Redmond Special. If they ever crack that thing, it might be the key to a few neat tricks like, say, Region-0 DVD without the need for a modchip, among other things. Its looks like it contains some of the files in the XDK.
So, I think it maybe be part of that program that you aren't suppossed to boot on the xbox, its like an xbox prepare executable. So it would format your HDD and such?
Maybe its just a part of that package of tools. I don't know I am just throwing it out there. _________________ XBOX v1.6
