Man, I'm 38 and can't remember half of those people.
Wow... The problem with this survey is people are going to only judge the presidents that they know.
I'll give it a shot of what I know..
Best:
1) George Washington - You gotta give props to the founding father
2) Abe Lincoln - He's what the melting pot is all about. Fairness and equality.
3) Tie: Ronald Reagan - If for nothing because nobody fucked with us and he had break dancers at his Inagural Ball and Bill Clinton - I am partial to Mr. Clinton because my best financial years happened under his terms. I don't think the 'future america' has prospered better under any other president than these two.
4) Good Ole Teddy Roosevelt - The trust buster!! I wonder how he would have handled Microsoft
5) Franklin Roosevelt- I don't think any modern president could have handled the depression. The New Deal was the shit!
Worst:
1) Taft - If Roosevelt was the father of the "New Deal" Taft was the father of the "Raw" deal. He coudn't do shit.
2) Richard Nixon - He got caught with hands in the cookie jar
3) John F Kennedy - Sure he got to pork Mary Monroe...but he almost got us in a fucking nuclear war during the cuban missle crisis. Not cool.
4) George W Bush - If Alf would have only been running last election. He would have won for sure.
5) Martin Van Buren - His policies prolonged the depression.
Well there you have it. I can't even rememver half of the other people so I just went with the ones I did remember. I am sure others did better, and worse but unfortunately, history didn't interest me at all in school.
