I rekilled my xbox the other day so right now I get the two intro screens (first animated xbox than the exocutor2 logo screen, it's bios modded). So my question is can I make a dashboard disc that will boot up so I can copy files over and hopefuly fix my problem or will I have to remod my hard drive? I already did the Pimped Final install... will I have to do that again? thank you.

grab xbmc installer. Its got what you need.

does it matter which one? I've seen afew in the forum area but can't seem to find anything in the download area... well actually the download area is nearly imposible to navigate effectively (no search function?)... and will I have to be a VIP to download it?

I downloaded the "SPPV xbmc installer full" from theisozone but the file was only 1.15GB instead of the advertised 1.37GB... was there saposed to be two files? I'm temped to spring for the vip section but my budget is really tight... I don't have skype btw

I wouldnt grab anything from TiZ, they had a server meltdown and lost alot of stuff, alot of stuff got corrupted etc. Skype is free and will allow a direct upload from me to you.

Got it burned to a disc now do I just need to delete some folders and run it? Also which option(s) should I use "chip" or "softmod"? since mine is bios flashed and technicaly not chipped yet it's not a softmod either...

Just use its filemanager to delete your old dash files on E. If Evox that will be trainers, skin, and config.ini(?) UnleashX will be Skins, Items.xml and XBMC will be XBMC. Then just hit return to stock (your chipped right?) then pick your dash (will say for chip beside it if its a chip dash)

what about the c drive? my e drive has folders; apps, backup, cache, emulators, games, saves, screenshots, skins tdata, udata. and files; config.xml, evoxdash.xbe, items.xml, test.log, x2config.ini...

Hit return to stock, and judging from the files Unleashx for chip. and will be all set

I have most everything working except when I hit reboot I get this "X3 ftp server v0.1a Alpha x2 4978 Kernel Inside" message... also I was going to install the new version of XBMC from this disc and later if I decide to make it my dash will it need to be installed again? btw for some reason I had afew error messages when I tried to do the unleash x chip install... as in failure to unzip or something like that... and the new install didn't have any skins...
I just tried to install xbmc as a app and when i tried to run it I got a "fatal error"

Make sure to use quality DVD-r and burn at 8x with ImgBurn. For installing XBMC as an app be sure to use the install in the E drive menu. And for extraction issues clear E cache and X/Y/Z partitions.
