Ok.. What is your XBOX 1 ip Address??

Use this as a basic guide.

Xbox Network IP SETUP:
IP: 192.168.0.2
SUB: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY:

PC Network IP Setup:
IP: 192.168.0.1
SUB: 255.255.255.0

Do you see how its working... The IP's and SUBNET need to be very similar.. If you know what i mean you will easily be able to setup your network and then ftp again.

hope it helps!

Is your xbox & PC connected directly??

1. eg.. XBOX --- (Crossover cable) ---> PC (laptop)

or do you have a router/switch/hub like this..

2. eg. XBOX -- (Modem/Router/Hub) ---> PC (laptop)

If you are using option 1 you MUST use a crossover cable and not a normal RJ45 patch lead.

If you are using option 2 you should be using a normal patch cable and NOT a crossover cable (there is a difference).

Here are some links which will help you:

Cross-over cable OR Ethernet patch cable?!..

PC Config for FTP to XBOX..

Go into your setting of your FTP Client like FlashFXP and make sure Passive is turned off in connection settings. Also, make sure that your PC and XBOX 1 are both set to Static(Manual Network Setting) and not DHCP (Auto Network Settings) as if not it may cause a conflict, and maybe try a lower number like x.x.x.1 and x.x.x.2 instead of x.x.x.102 and x.x.x.103 as this may also help.

Please write back with more detailed information, or hit me up on AIM and ill be glad to walk you through it on there as my job title is a Technical Support Rep. for internet service!

Also, if you have a wireless connection on your laptop, make sure for this that it is disabled as this could cause an issue as well Smile
