Can PCSXbox play games from a disc or do they have to be on the hard drive?

As long as you have burned the game to bin or cue format and told the EMU to look for the game in the D drive then yes you can play from disk.

Either way will work but like wes mentioned you have to have them in .BIN and .CUE format for the harddrive.

Might be a silly question, but I have to ask. It's been a while since I updated my emus, so I was wondering; would running the games from a disc prevent them from skipping or running glitchy? I used to love to play Tenchu 2, but it's not really worth playing on my PSX emu that I currently have. None of the stealth kills will show the video for the sequence. Resident Evil has the same problem sometimes.
