hi, i am an amateur in the soft modding world. i managed to soft mod my xbox and also install aid v4.40 however i have come up to a stumbling block which i cant figure out. i am not the greatest with the technical language but i do understand wehere i am going wrong. my problem is with the emulators and the roms. i installed the emulators and then the roms but when i go on to the emulators it says roms not available or dont exist. everything i have installed has been from aid v4.40 so if anyone can explain to me how to sort the roms out etc i would be very thankful. thanks.

oh ok.so what does the rom installs option do then? how do i go about to getting the emulators to work? thanks for the reply.
Hello,
The Rom installation section in AID is where you put your own Rom-set, theres a section in the AID manual showing you how to do this if you want to try it yourself. Alternatively you could FTP any roms you own to the roms folder for the relevant emulator.

theres two way i know of to get your roms working
1. if you use unleashX go into file manager and find where your emulator folder is and look for a file called roms.ini or config.ini (as long as its got the extension .ini or .cfg) open it and change the rom path to where your roms are eg. F/emulators/xnes9x/roms
2. ftp into your hdd using smartftp client or similar and find the .ini or .cfg
copy it to your computer, edit it then copy it back
hope this helps
