If your looking to record what the xbox sends out then you can either get a capture card or a dvd recorder. I don't know how capture cards work but if you get the dvd recorder just plug the av cables into the av jacks of the dvd player. Then when hit record when you want to start recording and it will be on a dvd. _________________

The DVR wold be the way to go, you can record for hours and it simple to use.
Capcards are good but long vids eat up hdd space.
Just my take on it.
