What up guy?
What your asking is so open ended that really you just need to google it thare are tons of sites on this.

soldering tip pages

http://www.elexp.com/t_solder.htm
http://www.epemag.wimborne.co.uk/solderfaq.htm
http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/solder.htm

found these in like less then a min. so i know thare are lots more out thare

And as for leds just as ez as puting them in a line and soldering them use a little hot glue as a wire jacket your good to go.

GOOGLE LOVES YOU USE IT LIKE ITS YOUR BITCH.

This is the kind of thing you can do with LED's.

This is a great little site for UK based peeps, like me!

tv remote, xbox remote, remote rc????

Thare arent maney things that dont need one, so i wold say yes unless you are tapping in on a prewired set of leds and are just adding one or two more.

You could prob get away with 64ohm too, for a bit of extra glow!

I thought resistor strength was measured in ohms

Maybe I'm wrong
