Mine will freeze from time to time. In my case, its do to using XBMC as my dash and using samba shares for all my media. I have a 6 XBOXs and it will do it on all of them, so I know its not an XBOX hardware\heat thing.

I have no probs with xbmc works pretty good, the way it should. Do as greven says it will more than likely solve the problem. My xbox has only frozen 1 time when it didnt have the CHIP lol. Once i had the chip, i took good care, cleaned out dust from the stock fan in the back and the heatsink fan. Clean ur dust and do what greven says, it should work flawlessly. _________________

Believe me, I am not the only one. Lots of posts about this out here. Affects build since April or May...it doesn't happen alot, but it does happen. If you store your videos and such locally on the XBOX, then its fine. If you load videos from a share on a server or PC like I do, thats when you can have issues. I tend to notice it more cause I watch all my TV, movies, etc this way. Everything is located one 1 server in my house and I have an XBOX for every TV.

oh i c, ethernet cables might not be a reliable resource to transfer and watch stuff. It is good for ftping, internet and stuff like that. Since you run from a server; server might be a issue idk for sure. having it locally on xbox is best way. but i know you have 6 XBOXES! so its easier for you to use a server for stuff. but i guess having it in the xbox is the best way to go.... _________________
