New Easier tutorial for Connecting to the Xbox via PC

Required

1. Modded Xbox (Softmodded, Hardmodded, doesn't matter)
2. An FTP network on your Xbox's Dashboard
3. A NIC on your computer
4. Windows XP (other OS' may work too, I can't test them)

Steps

1. In your Xbox FTP setup, put this info in..
IP Address : 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : 192.168.0.1
2. In your Computer, right click on your NIC and click Properties. Go down on the scroll bar and click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties. Put this info in..
IP Address : 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : 192.168.0.1 (If you have another NIC that hs internet, leave this blank. If you don't want to, connecting to your xbox may cancel your Internet connection.)
4. Click on Add a network place on the left panel.
5. Choose "Choose another network location"
6. Put this in : ftp://xbox:xbox@192.168.0.2
7. Name the connection whatever you want
8. Now you can just open My Network Places and open the new connection we just made to view the files in your xbox. This is a lot quicker that any FTP program.

You can delete this if you want but it has different steps than other tuts.

I was sceptical to that working but it works bloody great!!! Talk about making life easier don't need to load a program to get access to my xbox. You don't even need to change your ip address to 192.168.0.2 etc I just put in my ip address for my xbox (10.0.0.4) and it worked a treat. Nice one!!!
