Hi,
The police in the UK obviously do not understand what a 'disabled' parking bay is for.....
A friend of mine took this in at the junc 27 retail park in leeds, west yorkshire last year.....
They spotted him taking the snap and didn't look to happy so he legged it fairly quickly !!!

I think they know exactly whats going on there.
Most of the cops here in Oz are 'socially disabled', in that they'll hassle you for no reason when your hanging out with mates etc.
And then they give you a hard time when your out driving, because your car "attracts the wrong sort of attention" They hardly ever book anyone though, coz its too much paperwork for them to deal with
Just those god-damn automatic speed cameras. You drive along, and then bam! next week you get a fine in the mail saying you were going 3 over the limit. They p**s me F@#!ng off!! _________________

That sucks...Can't wait till they use that here in Detroit. They do sell a paint or cover that distort the picture of your licence plate (at least in the states) _________________

Yeah apparently that stuff is marketed here in Aus. incidentally by a retired police officer
From what I hear though, its very hard to come by, and doesn't always work. Worth a shot though _________________

I've heard of a trick in the US that makes those camera's void, you're supposed to have the right to face your accuser, you can't face off to a camera so you get your case thrown out. I'm sure they have some type of loophole so you can't use this, but it's worth a shot. It's basically the same as rescheduling your court date on a day that you know the officer has off. He will more than likely not show up and it will be thrown out. _________________
