Hey guys, I got this TV shipping and all for $819 from www.electronicsnation.com It's refurbished but you can't really tell that. A week after I got the tv, a problem came up, a wire had wiggled loose while shipping, and didn't fully disconnect until I had played with it for a while. This made the video not display, but the sound to work fine.
Even with that slight problem I think I got a great deal, the repair guy was local to my area and had it fixed in just a few days. It displays true 720p HDTV so this was a great buy imo.
This TV normally retails in the 1200 range refurbished, and the 1600 range brand new, so I see that I got it for roughly half price. They also offer extender warranties for those wondering.
Here's the link to the philips outlet where they have this tv on sale (note: they charge no shipping, but they wanted to charge me sales tax)

Here's where I bought the tv from, the owner of this site has great communication, we emailed over 20 times back and forth, and he was always helpful and prompt.

Now I'm ready for the 360 Oh and I attached a crappy cam phone pic to let you guys see it running, below is my old tv, mid 80s style console tv. And above the tv you can see a mirror, that's roughly where this thing is going to go in a few weeks. _________________

My audio setup is pretty good, over 1000w in a 10.2 configuration. Hehe, rattles everything in my house. _________________
