Hey, I reformatted my e drive so my xbox would be linke new. When i boot up my xbox with no disk, i get an error screen that says my xbox needs assistance.. So I have no dashboard.....Is there any way to fix this? PLease help..

Ok. Questions first.
1 Did you delete the c: directory? (hopefully not)
2 Can you still boot games?
If you still have your c:directory and can boot games, then pop in that game disc and reinstall the softmod ( just to be sure ) and install the evox dash to the e: directory.
Now, If you did delete the stuff in c: and you can't boot games then your only choice it to do pirrup's hotswap.

I still have the c drive, however I formated the e drive with has my dash board ( i think) I can boot to a disk, but when i start up without a disk then i get error saying i need assistance. Im not clear of how to boot to my c drive without my dash board.

I re-read your entry and i notice it said to get the reinstall the soft mod from the game disk. That part im foggy on what game disk has the soft mod on it?

By game disc, I meant Splinter Cell, 007, or Mechassult. Whichever one you used to do the softmod with. I assuming you were the one to softmod your box? _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

I may have found my problem when i installed lenex I e drive and not on my c drive. there for I cannot access lenex thanks to my reformate of my e drive. I guess i have no choice but to hot swap. Right?

OK, you have mechassult. Now when you boot from the game, do you see any game saves?

No, there are o game saves like run linux or whatever. I formatted the drive that the saves were all on it was the e drive.
