Hi,
Can anyone clarify whether my UK '2 disc' version of Splinter cell 'classic' work for the soft mod ???
I am almost ready to try this but need to know if it will work.

Right guys.....get the general idea !!!
I might be posting again to ask 'how do i get out of this mess with my duff splinter cell disc'
What software would u suggest using for the mod ?
I have a brand new xbox - v1.6x
Will be using a PC to transfer exploit to modded xbox and memory card to transfer the saved xploit to my xbox........Please advise

AID v2 has SID3 built in. Just extract the SC game saves from the tools directory and you're good to go. I haven't tried AID v2.11 yet but v2.02 work good for me. If it works make sure the absolute very first and formost thing you do is back up your m$dash. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

i tried a Classics version of splinter cell on my xbox and it worked fine,
good luck with the softmodding and make sure the first thing you do when you get the SID menu to come up is to make a MS Backup.

Thanks for all your help......I now have a download of the softmod installer deluxe V2.0 and I am ready to go.

Just got hold of AID 2.11 FINAL with SID 3 so I will use that.
Guess backing up the m$ dash is the first thing i will do.
Just toying with different methods of transfering the game save at the mo.
I think the controller to PC usb is the way i am going to go and the use AR software to transfer the save to the memory card.
Just waiting for a lead from Ebay then i am ready to go !
