How do you get XBMC to look up album covers?
Sorry if this question has been asked but cant seem to find the answer. Is there a quick way to just click somewhere and have it search a cddb? Is there a menu option somewhere to do this? I think I've clicked on every possible menu and sub menu. Learned alot about xbmc but no album look up?

I think there is a feature there somewhere..
I remember it displaying the wrong covers sometimes.
Just make sure you are sharing the internet to your xbox using a ROUTER or ICS (internet connection sharing).. Then you should be fine..
Do you have NEWS Scrolling accross your XBMC homepage.. If you do then this means your xbox already has INTERNET ACCESS as it will get the news for the HQ homepages.
OK I looked up xbmc xml's file and found 1 line where it says cddb ip address. I found allmusics ip and entered it. That didnt work so i tried 2 other ones that were allmusics they didnt work either. So I am hoping someone out there knows if I am doing this right or if there is another way around this. The lines were 74 and 75 in xbmc.xml file.

I think i remembered hearing the CDDB changed their IP database. I don't use it so I don't know the new one.

That is a real cool feature that made me change my primary dash from Avalaunch to XBMC is the RSS feed of our news. It's very cool!
XBMC does not like my wireless controller much though.
I was looking up radio stations on shoutcast and the damn thing was scrolling up and down at lightspeed on it's own. Other than that, I have found I really dig XBMC... finally. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
I have xbmc installed on my hd. When I press the power button, xecuter loads the bios page, I think this is what it's called. I can scroll down to reboot to dashboard, and xbmc then loads. Is there a way to bypass the bios page so xbmc loads at power on?
Also I'm having trouble getting my xbox and pc to link together. I had it working with the softmod I had, but since i aded the chip and bigger HD, I have had no success. I know it's probably already posted somewhere, but I've had no luck finding it. Any ideas??? _________________ V1.6
