i've already softmodded and i chose the EvoX Dash, but i would like to be able to have the UnleashX dash aswell AND be able to switch between them easily.is there any way to do this without using FTP at all? I was thinking somehing along the lines of Load splinter cell, choose linux, install the UnleashX dash and use an app to switch between them but,i can't put anything on my xbox (ftp problems).1 more thing i could think of was Auto-installer deluxe.it comes with XSelect which i'm pretty sure is used for dashboard switching.but i have a problem with that.i need to know whether i need a DVD burner to burn the AID ISO or if i can just use a CD-RW.if anyone can help it'd be lovely.

Quote:
Use XSelect to boot various Dashboards and Applications.
.
edit:wait,CDR? do you mean CD-RW? i wouldn't ask,but i only have 1 CD-RW and it's in very bad shape,whereas i have something around 300 CDR's.

You obviously are very luck and have a SAMSUNG XBOX DVDROM DRIVE.. All other dvdroms drives in xboxes DO NOT READ CDR at all.

just my 2 cents.

All dashboards can be installed as just a app.. Smile
XBMC is good as both.

install XBMC to the e:\apps or f:\apps directory.

l8r and hope that helps

yea, throw the dashes under apps and then rename the .xbx file thats loaded to defualt.xbx

I know that XBMC can detect them as apps, not sure about others...i know that UIX can't, but its got its own thing for Dashes (its pretty weird too)..
