Hi everybody,
I have installed my Xecuter 3 Mod Chip. All of the solder points are "xellent" and all the cables are (or I think) hooked up correctly.
When I enable my mod, I get the flashbios screen. Good, right?
Well, It detects my HDD, but not my drive....
I'm going to type the whole screen out:
FlashBIOS 3.0.1
HDD: ST310014A 3.09 10.242 GB
BootLdeReadData data not ready...
1: Drive not detected
Than I get the Flash and unlock HDD options....
I then booted without the chipp on, and I got an error 12, saying that my XBOX needs to be serviced..
Any help would be GREATLY appreaciated (SP)
Sincerly,
Xboxfreakkid
Oh ya... and the Eject LED flashed red and green...

Now you can install your new dashboard (evox for example).
This can be extremely easy to install if you get AID or you can do it the hard way, wasting countless hours and install all the files and the dashboard yourself manually.

If DHCP doesn't work static ip should work fine (static IP is always 192.168.0.99). _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Dunno for sure. Firewall issue perhaps? I would have suggested a Xenium Ice if I was asked. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Don't forget, if you are ftp'ing into the xbox, you need to put both the name and password in the ftp program on the computer. Both the name and password are "xbox" without the quotes. _________________ XBOX- V1.0

Your problem isn't your chip. The problem is most likely in your config.
Firstly, if you want to flash your mod chip via HTTP (web browser) how are you connecting your xbox to the PC.
Do you have a router? Or, are you just using a crossover cable directly from PC to Xbox?
I use a router and can connect in a snap.
All I do is turn the Xbox on, select Enable Network Flashing, and I get an IP address.
I then open an IE browser and type http://192.168.1.105 (which is usually the IP that shows up for me) and BAM ... I get the chips webserver page.
If you want, you can always make a bios disk and flash that way. Just make sure to rename the bios to whatever it is supposed to be for X3 to recognize.
If you are FTP'ing the bios to the HD, then make sure you create a folder on the C drive named bios. C:/Bios. Otherwise you wont even see the folder.
Good luck. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

LOL! I'm such an IDIOT! I DLed a currupt file! lol So, I made a disk, (THE FTP AND BROWSERWAST"T WORKING ) And I got my X3 bios on... and I went to sleepp....(pulled an All-nighter)
Today, I installede EvoX, (Eww, I hate it! :p) So I'm gonna try XBMC now.
HAPPY! I have now officially been born into the world of modding! (*crickets*
