Hey all, first I'd like to say thanks for everyone keeping an eye on the news. A couple things real quick prior to submitting.
Please make sure that you utilze blockquote tags before and after your news article. This will give it a nicer, news article look. If you have any questions just ask me or DJB.
Also, please make sure that the story doesn't already exist. I have been trying to submit as much news as possible and I have already ran into two or three recent submissions that were already submitted days ago. Usually, one of the admin's will catch it. I try to keep a watchful eye on what is being submitted, but sometimes other admins are lending a hand and they may not have seen the previous article. Server space is precious and we want to be able to post and host all we can without adding duplicates.
Also, please make sure to list a source.
Keep up submitting everyone. I think the traffic we are getting here is awesome!!

I sent you an email. For all those who are interested, here is what we mean.
I hope that helps. I have also noticed that <p> tags don't do what I want them to do for whatever reason, so if I want an extra blank line I just use two line break tags. <br><br>

hey guys,
heres some tips for you all to use in your news submissions..
If you want to add a picture to your news post do it like this.
Its always best to try and upload the image to the server.. In the future there will be a extra section to add images directly!
IF ANYONE NEEDS A FTP UPLOAD ACCOUNT CONTACT ME. (most of you already do)
If you want to add a link to a website instead of just plain text do this:

<a href="http://www.xbox-hq.com" target="blank">Link Name Here</a>
This code will open the link in a NEW WINDOW so we dont lose our members!
