ok wuzzup ppl the most puzzling thing i ve been wondering is how do i uninstall the softmod when i tryed 2 get back my un modded dashboard and i rebooted it when i turned it back it went 2 a screen that says ur xbox needs service how do i fix that i heard that i should buy a new xbox , harddrive or give up . but i kno that there must b a way 2 fix this problem if someone can plz answer this question.

Need to know the error code you have on the screen. Here is a tut that may help, but really need the error to be sure.

hi carlozz,

Id you used the latest SID3 to install your softmod you should have chosen to do a M$ Backup before you installed your SOFTMOD files..

Then you can just choose 'Restore M$ Backup' from the SID menu and it will then copy your xbox back to how it was..

anyway, hope that helps
