I burn my first DVD yesterday and all going fine. I burn at 1x hitman contract (the USA release from Insomnia) and all seem to work fine. Put this dvds in the hacked xbox of my neighbour (he use evolutionX) and game boot. Ya all work start new game and got a fucking message : the disc is dirty or damaged . Well clean up the little thumb mark then i've done accidently. Start again the game all work fine but after about 2 min the xbox hang up. Any1 know why this occur? a problem with my burned game or a xbox fault? I use dvd-r known as generic (noname cds who don t cost so much) with my plextor px-708 (with 1.06 firmware). thx for help cuz this suck i want to modded my xbox but b4 prefer to know how to burn a fucking game well. Thx for all. also i don t make this xiso. I use nero 6.1.1.5 Entreprise edition for burning game. thx for info this goin to help a lot and going to start a xiso collection right now. _________________ I don't suffer from insanity , I enjoy every minute of it

i would say it is missing some files or your XBOX doesnt like the media your using.. Try another brand..
Copy the game to the HDD first to make sure its working 100%.. Also you may need to patch the game using ADR Patcher in the Downloads section.
ok welll what is ADR and what is the purpose of using this? I try another band due then i take the cheapest (and the first then i saw) and hope is fixed cuz the game seem to run fine only this freeze who f#&@ me up. _________________ I don't suffer from insanity , I enjoy every minute of it

ADR is a patching tool, some games need to be patched in order for the burned copy to work. YOu can get ADR in our downloads section.
Depending on what dvd drive your xbox has it can be very picky about what media you use. The media is the disk you burned to game on. A lot of times, especially if you have a thompson dvd drive, you need to try a different media, memorex usually works well, yamaha dvd-r's work, but they do cost a little bit more. Also try the dvd-r's that are for speeds 1-4, instead of the general dvd-r's that only burn at 1x. Still burn the game at 1x, but they are just of better quality.
