can this be done if so how as i dont have the hdd password as the xbox was stolen but i have the hdd, also a few others here from other hdd upgrades.
please help as i want to use them not throw them out

i think if u place config magic on a cdrw with the locked hard drive connected and boot it up u can unlock it by using TEAMASSEMBLY as the password, but i am not 100% sure so if anyone else can clarify that would be great, also i know ure not an idiot but u can get it from #xbins just in case u werent sure...

I have tried using config magic as it is on my slayer cd.
It didnt work as you cant get to the hdd as it comes up wit han error. really doesnt like different hdd in other xbox's.
anybody else

If you have a logic analyzer and a few hours you can save the drive. I junked three drives last week after reading this article by SpeedBump.
I know it sucks, but eight or ten Gig isn't worth the effort.
