Hey all, I have uploaded some pretty nice Mame roms to the VIP section for your enjoyment. If you don't currently have Mame installed on your xbox WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!
At one time I contemplated purchasing some refurbed arcade games. Thankfully, I took forahobby's advice and held on to my loot. Now, I easily get my Asteroids Deluxe fix right on my XBOX. Also, if you are downloading the emulator, make sure you don't download a file that hasn't been compiled yet. It will do you no good. I will check and see what we have up and if need be will upload the file that I used. Asmunch and I were having a conversation last night about this emulator and I can honestly say that I am blown away at the games. They are authentic right down to the test screens that always loaded when you first plugged in a coin op arcade game. Remember the colors and the grid that would pop up. Right now I have over 1900 mame roms. Obviously, I am not going to upload them all individually. If someone has a specific request just PM me or reply to this post. I will see if I have it.
In the interim, I will upload some of my favorites individually and then make a few packages with several together in each package. If you are like me and never used MAME before, you have to put the roms in your roms folder as a zip file. Unzipped roms will not operate correctly. Also, to type the word ok to the game, you just press left direction then right direction on the pad. Do not use the analog thumbsticks. They took the support away due to horizontal direction not working with them.
Enjoy the games everyone. If you are not a VIP member, you will not be able to download these. To become a VIP you just need to submit a 10.00USD donation. These roms alone are worth it, let alone everything else that is and will be available for the VIP's. Trust me, I have been to tons of XBOX sites....the VIP download here is the best around! I cannot find Gorf or Satans Hollow, but I am sure I have Satan's Hollow somewhere. Will keep looking.
I uploaded a zip file that has four games for you.
Three different versions of Elevator Action and One version of Marble Madness.
Let me know if Marble Madness is the right one, because I have another version too.

The Marble Madness is right, but all 3 Elevator Actions give mem errors.
? can i compile these myself using mame-x-builder to run on mameox?

Not too sure about that since I don't know anything about that app. Am surprised they aren't working for you though, as I haven't ran into one mame rom that I can't play. Not too mention I am using an older version of mame.
