Has anyone tried this chip yet? It looks to be a SmartXX LT OPX killer to me, but very curious to know if anyone has installed one of these and what types of results they may have had.
It seems to have very similar features to the Smartxx LT OPX:

- 512 KB Flash Bios
- Highspeed Xilinx CPLD
The main difference is the LT OPX mod chip does not have network flash capabilities. Seems that since the chip is 5 to 10 bucks cheaper than smartxx's flavor, that this chip may be a wise investment ($20.00 at www.extreme-mods.com )

All I have to say is WOW.
What a chip! I now have another chip to rave about as far as install and ease of use.
If you are contemplating getting a cheap chip, don't! For 20.00 this chip is everything you need!
Built in operating system, network flashing, quicklaunch by pressing eject button, diable chip for XBL play right from OS, and here is the thing that sets this chip above and beyond even the SmartXX LT OPX....the recovery feature is awesome!
If you have to update this OS it's done easily. If you have a bad flash...no problem. Just boot the chip because unlike other less expensive chips this puppy boots to an OS not to a bios right away. No external programmer ever needed!
I will make sure to give one of these chips away in the upcoming contest. Sweet as hell!! Very easy to use interface too.

yeh I started stocking them last month and I was very impressed.
I just hope the OS development kicks off pretty soon

I tell you what, it offers more OS wise than the LT OPX does..at least at first glance it does!!

can anyone help me with a problem i am having with the install of the xchanger V2 chip? after installing the chip i reassembled my xbox and upon power up, it will restart 3 times and then there will be a black screen. yes the tv is turned on for all the wise guys out there. lol. i have checked all the solder points and they seem to be good. please help if you can.
