Ok here is my situation...i got the splinter cell saves and put them on my console then i put in the game...i hit run linux and then i get this screen that says...SERVICE NEEDED...and my light on my xbox is flahsing red and green...what am i doing wrong???

im no softmodding expert but it sounds to me like you have a old M$ Dashboard.. (original microsoft dashboard installed)..

So you will need to upgrade the M$ Dashboard first and then click install linux.. know what i mean??

Anyway, there should be a option to revert to the backup then you can start again fresh!!
