I've been using X2 5032 512k bios with an Xenium ice chip with no problems. Recently I read that you should only use them with the Xecuter2, or 3 chip. Is this true? Thanks. _________________ Xbox V1.1 Xenium ice solderless 2.3.0/OS

The X2 bios can be used on just about any modchip justlike the EVOX M8 bios..
I believe you CANNOT use the X3 bios on any chip other then the Xectuer 3.. Well thats what i know of anyway.. I havent personally used a x3 yet..

What if I try it out will it wreck my box?? I guess we'll see... I'm gonna try the X3 3284 bios out, on a Xenium ice chip. I will wait a bit incase anyone tells me that would be a big mistake. So if I shouldn't do that please let me know or tell me what would happen. why wouldnt it work? of course you cant use the live functions of the x3 but it will flash fine.
anyway you said it yourself, you have the backup os/bank on the xenium ice... trying wont do much harm
