Do you have back up copies of your hd key and eeprom? _________________

If you don't have a back-up anywhere else out of your Xbox (precious advice from Eleventhtoe)...let say you're in trouble
You'll have to ask advanced softmodders here to know how you could possibly restore your HD to it's original condition.
Hang on!

Hummm...I dont think there's any possibilty to share a dashboard.
(or maybe with someone who has the same version of XBox...admin could answer to this?)
If i'm right, each XBox have a unique EEprom and HDkey.
Assuming, that you can use a shared MS back-up,you'll be not able to put it back since anything won't boot at all.
The last thing you could try,and i'm not sure about that,is a hotswap.
Good Luck!

hotswapping will work !
for the last time hotswapping isn't same as upgrading a hd or preparing new one !
What is hotswapping ?
hotswapping you need a pc next to your xbox and the hd cable almost completely lose on your hd in your xbox .
the trick is to swap the ide to the first ide on your pc ( you got only one second to do this correct so the hd will be unlocked.
make sure you have a ms dash ready
i'll write a tutorial today about hotswapping because many people still mix up the ways.
hotswapping is a way to unlock the hd without the eeprom!
