I have successfully softmodded my xbox, had the evox dash running and using auto installer 1.1. I went out and bought a 160GB HD and decided to to try and swap the two. I talked to a friend who told me to flash the bios and unlock the HD, then just swap em out. So unlocked the HD and I flashed the bios and the screen said "Erasing." and it was like that for a while so i figured it either froze or was done so i shut off my xbox. I then switched out the drives thinking it was ready but when i started it up i just got the blinking red and green lights and that screen telling me i need to service my xbox in five different languages. So i shut down, swapped back in the original drive and powered it up only to find the same screen Is my xbox messed up forever!? what can i do to recover it. any help please!
thank you!

Have you try to load with your original Mechassault,007 Underfire or Splintercell game?
It display an Error 13 or 21 when the lights are flashing green and red?
If you're still able to load original games, chances are you'll find the hack save game on your original HD.Then you'll be able to re-install the softmod.
Good Luck!

first some facts:
a softmodded xbox needs BFM bios (those are files on your c)
you can't flash a bios on a softmodded xbox !
a softmodded xbox needs a locked hd (locked with the eeprom from the softmodded xbox)
i hope you took a eeprom backup and a backup from your c and e drive.
read my tutorials in the tutorial section about upgrading a hd on a softmodded xbox.
let us know what error code you get and with what did you try and flash the bios??
thats the thing, there isnt an error code. its just a screen telling me that my xbox needs to be serviced, and its in like 5 diff languages. what im thinking is that i locked the stock hd, and now i cant get back into it. either that or i just flashed my mother board. that would make me an idiot, but is is my first, so, what are you gonna do right? any help would be great. am i totally screwed? oh, and one more question. has anyone ever sucsessfully ftped to and xbox froma mac?

he couldn't have fucked up the tsop without soldering the points on the board to make it possible to flash the tsop.
edit:from what i read(i'm no expert), your stock hdd isn't locked. according to your steps you unlocked it, tried to flash something, then put in the new hdd
