I cannot boot AID V2.0 on my xbox with DUO X2 with a brand new unformatted hard drive. Although it boots fine with the old hard drive dash and apps already setup from the previous install. I thought it was just the hard but I have tried it on three brand new hard drives only to get the same results. It doesnt boot and it only gives me the error 21 which I know has to do with dashboard issue. Also does not load on my X3 with bios X3 5032 it just hangs. I have tried all three copies one without any add ons and the other 2 with updater V2.01 pathced. I even tried to flash with with other bioses thinking that it the bios and still doesnt boot only give me error 21. Anyone else having the same problem... thank you in advance for any help that you can give.

The first possibility could be the media (disc) you've used to burn AID onto. DVD-R's and CD-RW's are the most advised, but DVD-R is the best.

Hi all,
Has anyone else installed a new hdd and formatted it with the AID 2.0 yet.. We did some testing before but i just want confirmation from some experienced modders that it is working.. We do know that it was working so im guessing here but i bet its a media issue.. Because very few reports coming in.

I did search as much as i could for that kind of thread and i had no luck finding it so thats why I posted this thread. but anyways thanks for the tip got it working by extracting the original iso, deleting the default.xbe, copied the install.xbe and renamed it default.xbe. work perfectly. great installer djb thanxs for the hard work and thanx everyone else for the help....
