Post subject: Editing XML config files

I've just finished to completely config all the settings (some with password to avoid acces to final user's) and translate all function acces for future use in french on a new softmodded xbox.

It took me 10 minutes to do the softmod but about an hour just to edit and save the user language.the skin, the screensavers and others '' fine tuned'' setting.

I've see all these saved infos in the XML config file with the file explorer.

Now i try to figure out if it's possible and how to save it somewhere on a memcard and/or my PC and just overwrite it into a further succesfull installation.

Thanks a lot!

Just save the config.xml to your pc. Then if you ever need it after softmodding just overwrite the config file with your fine tunned one.

or

If you look into your softmod files for example sid 3 for mechassault in it, it has a file called softmod.zip in it there is a file called config.xml replace it with your fine tunned one. But like I said its only the one inside the softmod.zip not the one that installs the softmod.
