HI,
I have a softmod install on my xbox and everything its working fine. But i want to know if somewone can tell me how to make copy of my games on DVD. I have acces to my Xbox dvd from my pc but if i copy the files it doesn't work????

Hi there,
You'd probably be best of using DVD Decrypter, you can download it from here :
1. Go to the mode tab, and select ISO READ.
2. Insert the Xbox game.
3. Once it has been acknowledged by the program, click the big DVD to HDD icon.
4. It should then copy the game contents onto your HDD as an ISO file.
5. Once that is done, take out the game.
6. Change the mode at the top to ISO WRITE.
7. Locate the ISO file you just ripped.
8. Insert a blank DVD.
9. Click on the big HDD to DVD icon.

I dont think you can use Dvd decryptor to backup xbox games because of the protection on them but if you download a program called CRAXTION ( www.craxtion.com ) and network it via your pc to your xbox, you can rip a game directly from the xbox dvd drive to the p.c hdd, you then use CRAXTION to create an iso from the file that was just created, once this is done use DVD DECRYPTOR to burn the iso( burn on the slowest speed possible). Craxtion is a really simple program to use and takes no time at all to rip a game. You will also need the Microsoft .net framework installed to run Craxtion, you can find it on www.microsoft.com , do a search for the .net framework on that website, and then download the .net framework 1.1 redistributable. Let us know how it goes.

then you can use nero to burn the image to a disk.

get Qwix. go to create iso, pick ftp folder, select d:/ select a place to save it on your pc, then get DVD Decrypterr. open DVDDecrypter, select mode, select ISO Write, and select the .iso of the game you just made. select the lowest possible burning speed for your drive/media. then hit burn. Xbox-hq, doesn't condone piracy, only backups
