hi all i have mameox version 083b but the version on 2.0 aid is mamedox 1.0 is this supposed to be superior? _________________ from surrey,epsom,uk

Actually it's 1.1 on there I think, I messed up with the documentation
Yes it's more superior as it will support newer roms etc. Plus, it's been built on from the version you speak of I believe.

Maybe anyway,
I still want to find my answer for xebian
I softmodded my xbox with exu, PBL me too , and the dashboard that came with exu
But my xebian installation boot disk doesn't load anyway...
Do you know why...
It's just to be able to do a difficult (maybe extremely hard) thing.
I have a canada ntsc, xcalibur xbox
Softmodded worked perfectly
Do I need xebian default.xbe patches???? oe else

Your softmod should automatically boot a DVD if it's in there, my guess is it's a bad burn. Maybe try reburning at a slower speed or try another brand to see if that helps...
