Posted: Wed May 11, 2005 6:20 pm Post subject: Flawless install......Almost. MS Dash does not load.
So,
I started this process by first running Halo2 on a xbox, and updating the dash.
I then did the soft mod and had very little trouble.
But things went bad and I ended up with a fragging box.
I booted the curent Xbox Autoinstaller and used the file manager to delete all files on C:, then install the MS dash from Autoinstaller Deluxe.
I then reaplied the softmod, and evox, and ran the 5960 patch.
All is well, except the MS Dash will not load at all. LOADING............
If I tell Halo2 to sign into xbox live...I get Error 21
(Not tring to use xbox like by the way, just testing the dash)
I basicly folowed the "Flawless" directions and cant figure out why it wont boot the MS dash.

I just had to edit the Evox.ini and changed the Microsoft Dashboard path to c:\msdash.xbe. It works fine now
