I had XBMP 2.4 working just fine with videos, MP3s, JPEGs... THEN....
I upgraded BIOS (4983.06) and put in a larger HDD.... now mabe I've been poppin' too many stupid pills, but I can't seem to get it to find any MP3s, MPEGs, JPEGs... nothing! I've tried placing MP3s in "Music" folders all over the F drive (the drive where XBMP is located), deleted files from UDATA & TDATA on E drive... I EVEN RESORTED TO READING THE MANUAL! I deleted XBMP 2.4 and re-FTPed to F drive... nothing! Any ideas?

I noticed the same thing with my machine. I was uploading mp3's to the F/ folder and nothing was showing. I looked around and saw that I also had a music/recordings folder in the E/ drive. I put my mp3's there and all is well and good now. I like XBMC better though as it has a scan feature and just scans my hard drive for media files. Thanks! It's working now! Must have been those Stupid Pills I've been popping! I just noticed that the "Music" folder on the E drive was EMPTY! I put in some MP3s in it and it works! I renamed the "Video" folder to "Videos" and now THEY work! JPEGs working too! It now dawns on me that I had it on the E drive in the original HDD.

No problem 'Porche', trust me I have taken the same pills! I still have difficulty getting different skins to work on my EvoX.
