In my Evox menu under system settings my bios is always unknown? Is this O.K? Also was wondering if you(who ever reads and replies) keep your HD locked or unlocked - most of the time. Thanks. _________________ Xbox V1.1 Xenium ice solderless 2.3.0/OS

WHat if I have multiple bios's do I put all of them in ?? Would you please be a little more descriptive I'm a noob who usually figure's things out trial & error and I really want to avoid that second one I use Xenium ice on a V1.1 2.30 OS and right now I have My- retail TSOP -and- in FLASH I have X2 5031 512k, and 256k.Evox.m8plus - both go directly into EVOX 3935 but I usually open XBMC(05/02/05). I'm always trying new things. Should I just stick with one? And if you would give the details on the bios thing that would be great. Thanks. _________________ Xbox V1.1 Xenium ice solderless 2.3.0/OS

the only time I lock my HD is to jump on xbox live, but since you have a seperate box for that your chipped box (xenium) you can leave either way the xenium will read it the same locked or not. THe only reason to lock is to load the M$ dash, original BIOS, or go live. As for the unknown BIOS all that means is its not in the ini in evox, as long as you know you flashed the one you wanted I wouldnt worry about it _________________ Xbox v1.0

hi, you have to edit the evox.ini file. What I did was used evtool and opened the bios then i got the bios md5 and copied it to the md5 clipboard. Next, I opened the evox.ini and found an X2 bios I wasn't using(1mb bios) and highlighted the whole bios and deleted the line. The line will be open so you will type: ROM="(512)X2 5031.01", after the comma paste the md5 and save then ftp this evox.ini to your drive C, then reboot the Xbox and the bios should be recognized... Don't forget to ftp the evox.ini file to your pc and make a copy of it before you make any changes in case you edit something you shouldn't..........Later _________________ Xbox V1.3
