Ok they say if you get a HDD that is presetup like a stock HDD you can plug and play..But i thought that the eeprom had to match the m/b??? So does the presetup HDD .. any answers will be great thanks..

Once your machine is chipped, you can easily lock an unlocked preconfigured hard drive to your motherboard. You only need your HD locked if you plan on launching the retail kernel (MS Bios). The locked hard drive is needed if you plan on playing on Xbox Live. Otherwise, you can just keep it unlocked, which is what I recommend anyway.
I have preconfigured hard drives if you are interested. Just let me know the size.
