I know its for the x3 and you don't have it, but its a D0 on the bottom, its a little easier to hit.
I am unsure of your mod chip, so I don't know what you are working with and if it has to be the d0 on top _________________ XBOX v1.6

Thanks I have an Xenium ice with solderless adapter but I am going to get a new chip with solderless adapter. I don't want to have to solder but here is a picture (its the closest I can get)

Sorry about the blur but you can see the gold ring where the holes are and where the D0 hole is supposed to be (on V1.4,V1.5) there is no hole just paint and kind of indent where the D0 hole should be?
Edit - I fixed the blur and you can see right to the left of "R7D4" there is only one hole and just a little more left where the D0 hole should be there is just an indent _________________ Xbox V1.1 Xenium ice solderless 2.3.0/OS

The board could be covered with too much lacquer, just get an art knife and expose the metal connection. Don't cut any traces though.
I'd pull the pic, but its a pdf and I don't feel like setting up the screenshot, i have a few other things running on the computer at the moment, sorry bud. _________________ XBOX v1.6

It looks like you have one. its just covered by lacuqer. Lookat your TSOP (Thin Small Outline Package) its your MS Bios. Off the top left pin, about 1 cm diagonally towards the large amount of traces. You are aiming for the 3 that are pretty close together. Use the Team Xodus link I sent you to see what i am talking about _________________ XBOX v1.6

Why dont you just use the bottom D0 point of you are unable to use the top?
When I run across a D0 hole or LFRAME hole that is all boogered up with lacquer I just use the tip of an exacto blade and scrape away at the lacquer. Then, I use a Q Tip with alchahol and clean off the rest until I see copper..
Or, I just use an alternate point. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Yes it just seems that the holes with the gold trim should be there but where the D0 hole is supposed to be, it doesn't seem like there is a hole there. So does this mean that everywhere on the motherboard where there is a little circle it should actually be a hole (like the easy to see gold trim ones) and there is just to much laquer on the board. I just don't see this because it seems to destinctive from the holes to the ones covered up. (there is no in between half laquer covered holes) Hope you can understand what i am saying. Thanks.
BTW I want to avoid any soldering, strictly solderless. The D0 on the bottom side is filled with solder _________________ Xbox V1.1 Xenium ice solderless 2.3.0/OS

Then you only option is to scrape the lacquer away. I know exactly what you are saying. I have encountered this dozens of time.
Some people use a fiberglass pen, others just use a blade. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

From your pics earlier it appeared you had a D0??
Did you compare it to the Team Xodus tutorial i had put the link up, top of page 4? _________________ XBOX v1.6

Yes I looked at those tutorials. Thanks. I know where the D0's are its just that with my V1.1 the D0 was simple (right there with a pre-made hole) On my V1.4 there is no hole where the D0's are (top and bottom) which means I have to solder (which I was trying to prevent). I tried scraping the laquer off it didn't work that well, I hope I didn't screw my motherboard
Edit - Here are some pics of my scraping job and the bottom D0 area.

you are on the right path, just if you solder tin, the wire first, and hold it steady and heat the wire, and the solder just falls into place, so you don't worry about using 2 hands and try to steady it at the same time
The scrapes look fine, you only want to go to the point as if you were using a wire brush to remove it, fine scrapes to allow a metal to metal connection _________________ XBOX v1.6

Well I did her all with success, I just used the pinheader I had from my solderless install and the bottom D0. I bought a new HDD (WD 80 Gb) then did the HDD upgrade with the Xenium OS then took the chip, sliped her on the pin header and put my stock HDD in my soldered xbox. I got it running then I put chip back in my solderless xbox and now I have 3 working xbox's(1 retail for live, 1 modded, and 1 with the option of just slipping on a chip). Thanks for all the help.
BTW - some games freeze with my xbox with the HDD upgrade(WD 80 GB) if I don't touch anything it shows the demo(of whatever game) fine. Soon as I press start it freezes? This only happens with some games? Any ideas on WTF is going on. -I did cut the wires to the HDD and attached ones from a PC power supply so I had two outputs. _________________ Xbox V1.1 Xenium ice solderless 2.3.0/OS

Well congrats on the box fix. Its a good feeling to raise the dead. *I had a dead eeprom, flashed a 1.4 to a 1.6 machine by mistake and returned.
It might just be your hard drive trying to cache the games. I was actually having problems with that, I would experience a lag in the x3 Config live menu. I didn't know what the hell was going on.
Turns out that my aftermarket ata133 aftermarket cable from llama, the ide connector broke and was seperating, replaced it back with the xbox gray ata and runs fine, a tiny bit slower, but fine. _________________ XBOX v1.6
