If so how do you get config magic before you even burn AID onto a disk? Cause the only place I found config magic is in tools on the screen that comes up when I boot the AID disk I made.

For the protect on the x3. If the button is pushed in and green that means the protect feature is active, button out and red means the flash protect is off. Also this depends the on protect switch that is on the chip itself, the way this is being stated is if the protect is off.
If you want to install a larger hard drive you can do all of this from the AID v1..You can also ftp config magic to your xbox. Just send it to your apps folder. _________________ Xbox v1.3
