Hi. I just helped a buddy of mine softmod his xbox, using the softmod installer deluxe + mechassault. We followed the tutorial exactly, so he now has a couple apps and EvoX on his xbox. His xbox is a 1.5. My question is this: after following the tutorial, is he able to play backed up games? (He owns them, of course.) Or does he need to do something more, like flashing the BIOS or something? I'm kinda new at this, so I'm not really sure. I guess we won't really find out until he tests one (doesn't have any dvd-r's atm), or someone on here tells me. Please let me know. Thanks!

Backup games work perfectly, and thanks for actually owning the games, that's the only way we'll ever see more games come out. _________________

So he's already done everything he needs to do in order to play backups? He doesn't have to flash the BIOS, or anything? If so, that's awesome. My xbox is modded with a chip. I kinda feel dumb for forking over cash for the chip, when a softmod was that easy.
