Hi Everyone

I have a question I have a Version 1.0 Xbox with an Xecuter2 chip i now have a 160 hd what bios should i use and how do i get all of my extra Gb on F and none on G ???

you can use the x2 4983.06 for all on F and no G

or you can edit evox m8plus bios using evtool and set the LBA48 to partion 6 takes rest of the drive.

** if you are moving from a non-LBA48 BIOS, if your drive is greater than 137GB and you already have a partition 6 which goes up to the 137GB barrier then choosing the partitioning option "Partition 6 Takes Rest of the Drive" will result in data corruption when the drive is written to. You'll need to reformat the drive if you want to resize your partition 6 to use all available space. **

if you have a xecuter 2.3 or 2.6 they use a 512k bios...im not sure about earlier versions.

thanks i think i have a 256 another question please i installed the bios and formatted the hd i installed ms dash on c and avalaunch on e now how do i get it to boot the dash instead of the ms dash

you need to edit your bios to look for the dash in E:...but you cant edit the x24983 bios...youll need to use x2 4981 or evox m8 or m8plus. you can edit the bios using xbtool or evtool

ok if it says xecuter2 then your chip is flashed...now you need to install a dash...if you havent installed one yet.
