Alright, I know its been a while since I have been on the site, but I am finally getting my computer situation taken care of. And now I need networking help, desparately.
I am on the schools network, and I can no longer use bittorrent, there is a school firewall. nothign works except the program "ares" (alot like Kazaa) so I know there is a way around it. I am just not technical enough to know what to do. Any help, whatever it is, is greatly appreciated.

Just for the record, all firewalls on my computer are either off, or under control, and I only need help with the schools firewall.

there ain't a whole lot you can do without being able to access the admin's comp/account you could try a different port in Azureus, maybe they just blocked the common ports. otherwise i'd try newsgroups

maybe check into how that other program works. what ports does it use? change Azureus to use that port? otherwise you could install a keylogger on admins computer
