have MXM installed on a retail HD. i am trying to use slayers auto installer to flash the Winbond TSOP but when i try is says "erasing" but does nothing. i shut it off and it reboots with the orig XBOX logo then loads MXM. My question is that is there another way to flash my tsop, i have an aftermarket hard drive that i pulled from a version 1.0 with everything already on it but i can not plug that in or it gives me a service error #5 when i reboot. I pulled the hard drive from a previous xbox i did but i never ran into this problem, before when it said erasing it erased and then flashed in a matter of seconds. i have tripple checked, and cleaned my points but does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my X2 4981 bios flashed? thanx

you cant flash winbond tsops with evox ,
u need to use an app like raincoat ,
you should read a tutorial on raincoat because its a little complicated ,
there are other apps also , i think xflash will work but raincoat is all i have used,
also ..how can u run MXM?
