Here's her new beast. Inside hardware the same, Xenium Ice with 200GB HD, but the exterior changed from the blossom skin to the Apocalypse Pink Full Color Skin. Also added a 3D Jewel Xenium Ice of course, and popped a pink 10 LED Jewel Ring under it. Also did the controller ports to match!

According to my daughter, her friends think I'm the coolest dad around
My nephews also are now the envy of all of their friends as I hooked them up with a mod over Christmas. I used one of the clear cases and all kinds of lights. When m nephew opened the box and saw the Xbox he gave me a huge hug. His mother looks at me and says, "In eight years all the things that I have bought this child, not once, not once have I ever got a hug".
I told her, "now you know what it takes".
You would have thought I handed this kid a million dollars! Now I got all of my brother-in-laws friends wanting machines though...lol.
I just sold a Las Vegas firefighter a machine about two weeks ago. He was one of the new VIP's that I made a donation for. Well, one of his fellow co-workers is sending me his machine that he goofed up. Once I fix it, I am customizing it with a firefighter theme. I'm going to try to make a red siren that sits on top of the Xbox where the jewel goes. It will have an on/off switch of course.
Another customer of mine and I also talked about taking full size replica NFL Football Team Helmets and putting Xbox's into them. The front face mask will have one of the shields that some players wear and that's where the DVD tray will come out of.
They will be expensive, but definitely if we can get it done.... a very special mod.

When you said earlier that your daughter told santa that she wanted a modded xbox with big HDD I almost melyed away, it was so cute.
That is truly a great mod indeed. Im going to show it to my girlfriend, something that looks like that would get her more interested in the scene.

Wait till you see the NFL helmet case mod!! It's going to be awesome. I ordered a replica helmet... didn't' think they were that expensive....$80.00...sheesh.
I am going to make the DVD Drive eject out of the front of the face mask. Controller ports 1 and 2 will be on the left side of the helmet, coming from side to front. Ports 3 and 4 will be on the right side.
the power/eject button will be in the mouth area and am thinking about building it into an actual mouth guard, like the ones with the lip protector or if I will just build it into the facemask.
Doing a cutout in the rear for a fan to suck hot air out, and also putting a fan on the left side to blow air in. Got my dremel ready to go!! LOL.

What is her favorite thing to do with her super-duper-Xpinkbox?
When I gave back my freinds box he had like 25 games on it. Despite the number of high tech games he aquired, whenever I drop by to visit hes playing one of the many fighting games with his son that are on the sega megadrive I installed.
And here I thought I was just installing it for novelty reasons

GTA Vice City on Xbox when mommy isn't home
She likes driving the moped and then gettin up on this one overpass and sniping people....she's a trip and a half.
She has a gamecube....on that she loves Mario Sunshine and Mario Kart Double Dash.
DivX movies she watches the most on her xbox - Sixth Sense, Shrek2, XMEN2, and Darkness Falls. She loves a good scary movie... I can't find one that will scare her though...still trying to keep the movies semi appropriate. LOL she is a hell of allot braver than I was at her age. I LOVE a good scary movie, but "The Blob" had me scared to take a shower for weeks!!! I was thinking a big blob was going to come up thru the drain. Man how movies have changed...
She sounds like she plays GTA like me. I used to like to get a jeep, sniper bullets and a rocket launcher and go to the top of the hill on the third island on GTA3. I would snipe people for hours and shoot down a few choppers. Why was I so intertained? I dont know!

dude, I am like that with every driving game...man, I thought that was just some quirk in my brain...lol.
I find myself taking corners at a different part of the apex so I don't fishtail and I have to tell myself...Jeff...that is real traffic coming toward you!!

LOL Me and my girlfriend just got done reading the posts. She loves the Xbox. She also thought the pic of your daughter was cute.

At the place I work (A Jazz cafe in downtown) there are train tracks that run right down the street next to the cafe. On new years eve real late a long train came by (an unusual occurance late night) and it was full of Tanks, Armored personell carriers, and Jeeps. Most of them had keys in the ignition. For a second I got that little GTA3 devil on my shoulder telling me "You know if you drove one of thoes vehicles off the side of the train it probly wouldnt get hurt" OoOoOo the temptation. Of course I wasnt too tempted by the idea of the military chasing me!!! But oh boy that was a GTA3 moment there!

Not as jealous as her friends brothers are....
She is very popular with the boys in her class too... Last week she took a bunch of pictures of Xbox Case Mods that I have done to show off during show and tell.
Her birthday was last week also and it's tradition in her school for one of the parents of the birthday child to accompany the birthday child for lunch in the cafeteria.
One of the boys in her class came up to me and said, "I wish my mommy and daddy knew you". I had no idea where he was going, so I asked why. He then said, "So I could come over and play Xbox". LOL!
Kids amaze me how well they do with technology.... When my wife (who's technologically retarded) has problem using Microsoft Word or something she no longer asks me for assistance...Jenna helps her out...HA.
