I have copied VOB files from DVDs to my computer then converted to AVI for over a year. Now all of a sudden I get a (Windows 2000) error

"Can not copy: The max number of secrets stored in a single system has been reached"

Can anyone help me out with how to go around this issue so I can continue copying VOBs?

See if anything at this link will help you, not sure if it will.

Thanks, actually that made me see the light!

I was just reading this morning that the Sony dru500a will lock its region to whatever the 5th disc is that is inserted. So I assume the region on this DVD was different than the rest I 'buy'.

Also, since the hardware locked the region, would DVD-Region free help at all?

edit- now that I am on my PC the link wont work.....I have to say I have the worst luck

I have always used DVD Region and CSS Free for the last year, but recently switched to AnyDVD...

So far, I haven't hit any snags. It has allowed me to backup the DVD's that I couldn't when using DVD Region and CSS Free..

Jiggy, let me know if you want region free... I'll hook you up if I can. I have a registry key, but you'll have to find an older version. Basically, you find the older version and install it. Then run the file and it will patch your registry for one year and allow you to update to the newer version.

Once you have the registry patched, you just download the newest version and install. Same thing with CloneDVD2

later man

Sounds good, I am actual pretty acquainted with the process of patching/cracking Smile I even have to set my clock back to use Photoshop.....

Just shoot them to me when you get a second.

Has anyone Sly's AnyDVD 4.5.5.1 for S*ny's new Encryption, like on "The Forgotten". It works well with Shrink.

I have been looking for a Keygen or Serial for this new version, so I don't have to part with $39 of Xbox funds.
